Jay Buettner Professional Guitar

Based in Vancouver, BC, Jay has gigged all over the world from Alaska to the Persian Gulf. He has performed on live radio and television including CMT, The Nashville Network and CBC, performed for the military in Germany, Bosnia, UAE, Israel and Egypt, played arena shows and outdoor festivals in front of tens of thousands and was a member of the all-star house band that performed the music for the live, televised Canadian Country Music Awards in 2007 and 2008.
During several years of touring with Nashville-based Canadian songwriter and recording artist Patricia Conroy, Jay immersed himself in the Nashville scene. The influence of Nashville and Americana music is prevalent in most of the work Jay does, including an album he produced for recording artist Jayc Harold that won Canadian Country Gospel Album Of The Year last year.
Besides session work and sitting in with bands around Vancouver, Jay currently tours with CCMA award winning artist Aaron Pritchett and is proud of his contributions to Aaron’s 2009 Juno Award nominated ‘Thankful’ album.
